It will be about Gnosticism influencing society from the 14th to 21st century. In Gonzalez’s revised and updated version of “The Story of Christianity: Volume 2-The Reformation to the Present Day” it seems to me that he thinks that Gnosticism is just a trend that comes back as a revival like as if it has been dead. I think that Gnosticism is more than a trend, because I think it has a greater influence in society than what the text book wants to give them. Sometimes I wonder if text book writers do no know how much influence they have on society, or do Gnostics drive enough fear to text book writers and publishers for them not to mention a whole lot about Gnosticism.
